The idea of taking a photo a day is both simple and daunting. I tend to go through phases of taking a lot of photos, and then ages without any. However, I thought that having this site might bring a bit of discipline to the process and trying to keep it going would be a good challenge.
I started taking daily photos on January 1st, 2010… I guess the last post date tells you when I last updated! Photos will likely be batch uploaded, though I do intend to take them daily.
Since starting with this project I’ve started to experiment more with ISO, flash, black and white (throwback to many years ago when I played with B&W film – yes the stuff that needs chemicals to develop), etc. this is also a good place to show them (good and bad). I’m also playing with the composition and subject matter. I like angles and landscapes, repeating forms and patterns, and strong colours. The pictures here will hopefully force me to widen the scope of what I do. I’ve also found (about four months in, April 2010) that I’ve got braver with the post processing, and learnt a bunch of things software wise as well.
Apologies for the bad ones. Having to take a photo every day can prove challenging sometimes when I’ve spent all day desk-bound 
and then had to fit in life afterwards. There are some really nice ones in there – honest!
